Arizona Elementary School Whitens Faces of Black and Latino Students On School Mural

Jeff Lane, principal of a Prescott, AZ elementary school, ordered the lightening of skin tones in a mural after a series of racial slurs were hurled at the painters, which included students.

City councilman Steve Blair said on his AM radio talk show that the mural should be painted over because “it’s pathetic […] [it] excite some kind of diversity power struggle that doesn’t exist in Prescott, Arizona.”
